Profile notes
LomoChrome Purple was introduced in 2013 as Lomography's first color-shifting film, designed to produce infrared-like false-color results processed in standard C-41 chemistry. The emulsion shifts warm earth tones to plums and violets: greens render as purple, yellows shift to pink, oranges go pinkish, reds take on a brownish cast, and blues shift toward cyan. The film was reformulated in 2019 for stronger magenta saturation, and a further Petillant edition was released in 2021 with experimental characteristics. The ISO 100–400 extended range allows flexibility across lighting conditions without changing development. The film remains in active production and is one of Lomography's best-known products.
