Profile notes
LomoChrome Metropolis was introduced in late 2019 following a successful Kickstarter campaign, with a revised 2021 formula released subsequently. The film's proprietary chemical formulation desaturates colors, mutes tones, and deepens shadows to deliver a cinematic city aesthetic—grungy greens, moody blues, and sharp pops of reds and oranges. The XR (eXtended Range) ISO 100–400 rating means the film can be exposed at any speed within that range without changing the C-41 development process; lower ISO settings produce lighter, pastel results while higher settings deepen contrast. The 2021 formula refined the grain structure. Available in 35mm, 120, and 110 formats.
