Profile notes

Fomapan 200 Creative (ISO 200/24°) is a panchromatically sensitized black-and-white negative film manufactured by Foma Bohemia. Unlike the cubic grain structure of Fomapan 100, Fomapan 200 is built on hexagonal core/shell tabular silver halide crystals — Foma's proprietary T-crystal technology — which delivers high resolving power (~110 lp/mm) at a full stop more sensitivity. Despite its tabular grain construction, the film has an RMS granularity of approximately 14, which is only marginally higher than Fomapan 100's 13.5, making it unusually fine-grained for a 200-speed emulsion. Its exposure latitude spans EI 100 to EI 800 without changing development. Fomapan 200 is well-suited to mixed available light, overcast conditions, and handheld indoor work. The rendering is smooth with good shadow detail, natural midtone separation, and a characteristic soft Bohemian tonality. Compatible with all standard black-and-white developers. Available in 135 and 120 roll formats and large-format sheet film.
