Svema Foto 100 is produced by Astrum Ltd in Shostka, Ukraine, using Svema-era photographic materials and machinery. Despite input data listing C41, this is a standard BW panchromatic negative film developed in conventional black-and-white chemistry. It is coated on a transparent 0.10 mm polyester base providing excellent dimensional stability and near-infrared sensitivity. Characteristics include low grain, high resolution, near-infrared sensitivity, and high contrast. Available in 35mm rolls and bulk 100 ft lengths. The transparent base requires careful handling in darkness.
