ADOX CMS 20 II is an ultra-high-resolution black and white film with an orthopanchromatic emulsion. When developed in ADOTECH IV developer, the film offers an ISO of 20 for pictorial photography, with usable speeds of 80 ISO for high-contrast purposes. The film resolves up to 800 lines per millimeter and is capable of grain-free enlargements up to 2.5 meters diagonally. It features an AHU anti-halation layer between emulsion and base material to prevent halation while maintaining sharpness. The film's transparent base allows potential reversal processing for use as slide film when combined with a reversal process and ADOTECH as first developer. ADOX emphasizes the film-developer combination is specifically optimized and recommends against using alternative developers. The film can be exposed at 3-6 ISO in non-dedicated low-contrast developers, though this is not recommended.
