Profile notes
Fujifilm Venus 800 is the ISO 800 member of Fujifilm's Japan-domestic Venus consumer film family, sold exclusively through Japanese retail channels. It delivered high-speed ISO 800 sensitivity with warm colors and moderate grain, suitable for indoor events and low-light casual photography. Like Venus 400, the Venus 800 shared emulsion characteristics with Fujifilm's Superia 800 but was branded for domestic Japanese distribution. The film is discontinued, having been phased out as Fujifilm rationalized its Japan-domestic consumer lineup. This entry (code FV8) is the primary Venus 800 record; a duplicate data entry (code PV8) is recorded separately as 'fuji-venus-800-pv8' with draft status.
