Profile notes

Fujifilm Fujichrome Provia 100F (type RDPIII) is a professional daylight-balanced slide film that occupies the middle ground between the hyper-saturated Velvia and the soft Astia. Provia 100F delivers accurate, natural color reproduction with very fine grain, making it suitable for landscape, travel, journalism, and commercial photography. It features Fujifilm's advanced T-grain emulsion technology for sharpness and resolution. Exposure latitude is relatively narrow at approximately ±1 stop — standard for slide films. Provia 100F requires E-6 processing and is compatible with chromogenic push/pull processing. As of 2026, it remains one of only a handful of E-6 slide films still in active production, alongside Velvia 50 and Velvia 100F. It is available in 135 and 120 formats from Fujifilm Japan and through international distributors.
