Profile notes

CineStill 800T was the first product released by CineStill Film in 2012-2013, created by removing the remjet layer from Kodak Vision3 5219 (500T) motion picture film to enable C-41 still-lab processing. Tungsten-balanced at 3200K, it is designed for artificial and mixed-light shooting. The remjet removal produces the signature CineStill red-orange halation halo around bright light sources — one of the most recognizable aesthetics in contemporary film photography. Rated EI 800 in tungsten light; an 85B filter and EI 500 is recommended for daylight use. Push-processable to EI 3200. Available in 35mm and 120 formats. The base Kodak Vision3 5219 was introduced in 2007; CineStill began selling the remjet-removed version in 2012.
