Pancro 400 uses two emulsion layers of differing grain size precipitated by a computer-controlled double-jet process, giving organic tonal gradations and flexibility across EI 100–1600. The 35mm version is coated on a 135µm acetate base with DX coding; 120 uses 100µm PET. An undercoated anti-halation layer clears during processing. First released in large-format sheets at Photokina 2016, with 35mm and 120 arriving in 2017.
