The Voigtländer Superb (1933) is a pre-war German TLR. Distinctive feature: a **rotating prism in the focusing hood** that flips the viewfinder image laterally so it appears right-way-up (vs the standard TLR's mirror-reversed image). Carl Zeiss / Schneider / Voigtländer Skopar 75/3.5 Tessar-formula taking lens, Compur leaf shutter to 1/250s, all-mechanical, no flash sync. Production was limited to 6 years before WWII; surviving examples are collector items.

Released 1933 as Voigtländer's TLR offering. Production ran 6 years until 1939 when WWII halted German camera production. Voigtländer never resumed the Superb line post-war; they instead pursued folding bellows and SLR designs.
For 2026 collectors, the Voigtländer Superb is a rare and historically interesting pre-war TLR. The right-way-up viewfinder via rotating prism is unique — no other TLR ever offered this feature. Used at $400–1,200 depending on condition.
Lens fixed.
