The Olympus OM-G (1983, sold as **OM-20** in some markets) is the consumer-tier OM-system body that replaced the OM-10. Where the OM-10 required an external Manual Adapter for manual exposure, the OM-G integrates **manual mode + aperture priority + program** modes. Released 1983 to replace the OM-10. Production ran 3 years until 1986 when Olympus consolidated the consumer OM line.
For 2026 buyers, the OM-G at $80–180 used is the consumer Olympus with integrated manual mode (vs OM-10's clunky Manual Adapter requirement). Same OM Zuiko system access. Trade-off: plastic feel, CdS meter (not silicon SPD).
