The Nikon FM2/T (1993) is a special-edition FM2n with **titanium top and bottom plates** (vs the standard FM2's brass with chrome). Champagne-gold cosmetic finish. Same mechanical FM2 internals: titanium vertical shutter to 1/4000s, 1/250s flash sync, full mechanical operation, AI-S meter. Production was limited — perhaps 30,000 units across the 4-year run.

Released 1993 as a luxury variant of the FM2n. Production ran 4 years until 1997 when Nikon discontinued the FM2n line entirely (FM3A took over 2001). The FM2/T was sold primarily in Japan and limited Western markets.
For Nikon FM2 collectors, the FM2/T is the most-prized variant. Used at $600–1,200 — premium over standard FM2n. Mechanically identical to the regular FM2/FM2n; the titanium plates are cosmetic. Some buyers pursue the FM2/T as a status object; others appreciate the slight weight reduction (titanium is lighter than brass).
Same as FM2 / FM2n.
