The Konica IIIA (1958) is Konica's premium fixed-lens 35mm rangefinder of the late 50s. **Hexanon 48mm f/2** six-element lens, Seikosha MXV leaf shutter, coupled rangefinder, **1.0× lifesize finder**, **double-stroke film advance lever** (two pulls per frame, like an early Leica M3). No built-in meter — uses external metering. Predecessor of Konica's Auto S2 (1965).

Released 1958. Production ran 2 years. The Konica III line continued through 1965; the IIIA was the highest-tier variant.
For 2026 buyers, the Konica IIIA is a substantial fixed-lens rangefinder of premium quality. Used at $200–500. The Hexanon 48/2 is genuinely excellent. The 1.0× lifesize finder makes both-eyes-open shooting possible.
