The Instax Wide 400 (2024) is Fuji's current Instax Wide camera, replacing the Wide 300 (2014). Same Instax Wide film format (62×99 mm image), same general capability — programmed AE with darken/lighten override, AA batteries, built-in flash. Improvements: **three-step zone focus** (close, medium, far) vs the Wide 300's two-step, refined cosmetic styling, slightly improved viewfinder. Lens unchanged at 95mm f/14.

Released 2024 as Fuji's in-production Instax Wide camera following the Wide 300's 2024 discontinuation. Continuous production through 2026.
For 2026 buyers entering Instax Wide, the Wide 400 is the current production option. The Wide 300 (used) is meaningfully cheaper for similar capability. Trade-off: three-step focus on Wide 400 is more useful than two-step on Wide 300; refined ergonomics; new-camera warranty.
Lens fixed. Standard Instax Wide film.
