The Instax Wide 300 (2014) was Fuji's mainline **Instax Wide** camera through the 2010s and early 2020s. Wide-format Instax film is roughly 2× the area of Mini Instax (62×99 mm vs 62×46 mm) — closer to a Polaroid SX-70's image size. Programmed exposure with a manual lighten/darken switch (+/- 1 EV), zone focus with two settings (close 0.9–3 m, far 3 m–infinity), built-in flash, AA-battery powered. Body is large — roughly 2.5× the volume of a Mini Instax 12.

Released 2014, succeeding the Instax Wide 200 (2008). Production ran 10 years until 2024 when the Instax Wide 400 replaced it. The Wide 300 was the volume seller of the Instax Wide format — most "wide Instax" bodies in the wild are Wide 300s.
The Wide 300 was the only mainstream way to shoot Instax Wide film for a decade. The larger image size makes Instax Wide more valuable for portraits, landscapes, and group shots — Mini Instax frames are too small for groups of 3+. The trade-off is bulk: 612 g body vs 306 g for a Mini 12, and lens speed (f/14 — really, fourteen) means you need bright light or flash for any indoor shots.
For 2026 buyers, used Wide 300 at $70–130 is the cheapest entry into Instax Wide. The newer Wide 400 (2024) refines exposure and adds better focus zones; the Wide 300 is the basic-but-functional alternative.
Lens fixed. AA batteries. Standard Instax Wide film cartridges. Tripod thread, neck strap.
