The Konica Eye (1964) is Konica's half-frame entry — the **Hexanon 30mm f/1.9** lens (5 elements / 4 groups, fast for half-frame), selenium-coupled meter, programmed exposure, leaf shutter. Compact for a half-frame, distinctive curved body cosmetics. The fast f/1.9 lens distinguishes it from contemporary Pen and Demi half-frames (typically f/2.8 or f/3.5).

Released 1964. Production ran 4 years until 1968 — relatively low volumes compared to Olympus Pen line. Konica didn't pursue the half-frame format as aggressively as Olympus did.
For half-frame collectors who specifically want fast-lens half-frame, the Konica Eye is the choice. The f/1.9 Hexanon is rare in half-frame cameras. Used at $80–200.
