REFLX LAB 500T is respooled from Kodak Vision3 5219 (500T)—one of the world's fastest motion picture films—onto 120 and 220 medium-format spools. The rem-jet backing is retained, requiring ECN-2 processing; labs without rem-jet removal capability cannot process this film. Tungsten balance (3200K) renders daylight as strongly cool-blue; an 85B warming filter corrects color for daylight shooting. At ISO 500, the film excels in low-light interiors, stage, and studio work while delivering Kodak Vision3's characteristic expanded highlight latitude, fine grain for its speed class, and cinematic tonal depth. The 120 format version was reviewed favorably by Tahusa for portrait and travel work at dusk.
