The Konica Autoreflex T3 (1973) is the third-generation Konica AR-mount SLR, replacing the T2. Mechanical vertical-metal shutter to 1/1000s — the metal shutter was a Konica innovation distinguishing them from contemporaries' cloth shutters. **1/125s flash sync** (faster than most contemporary SLRs). Shutter-priority autoexposure or manual, TTL CdS metering. Solidly built — 800 g, more substantial than the later TC.

Released 1973 to refine the Autoreflex T2. Production ran 3 years until 1976 when the simpler TC (1976) and T4 took over. The T3 represents Konica's late-70s Autoreflex flagship before the FS-1 motor-drive era.
For 2026 buyers wanting Konica AR-mount with full mechanical reliability and shutter priority, the T3 is the choice. Used at $80–200. The Hexanon AR lens system (especially 40/1.8 AR pancake) pairs well.
