The Vito line traces back to 1939 (Voigtländer Vito I). The Vito III (1950) was the rangefinder-equipped premium variant. Production ran 6 years until 1956 when Voigtländer shifted to the simpler Vito B / BL series.
For collectors of German precision 35mm cameras, the Vito III represents Voigtländer's mid-50s peak. Used at $200–500. The Ultron 50/2 is genuinely sharp and the Synchro-Compur shutter is reliable.
Lens fixed.
